I hope this finds you all doing well.

Looks like we are gonna have a wet week. Well I hope the extra water doesn’t hurt the tomatoes. Speaking I which, we will have cherry tomatoes and our wonderful heirloom tomatoes this week. They are looking nice. We will also have beans, peppers, squash, potatoes, zucchini and corn. Yes corn. There is a small farm out in Madison that grows sweet corn, well it’s gonna be ready this week. We hope to have this available for the next few weeks. It will not be long till the seedless watermelons are ready. I have a few bee hives out on a watermelon farm in Rockdale. Ill let you know when they are ready. We should have mushrooms this week as well.

I hope this funds you all doing well. What a wonderful weekend. The weather was perfect for seasoning my Father’s Day present. We had some chicken and ribs on the grill. It was great. We also had fresh dug potato salad and a cucumber, tomato and onion salad from the garden.

This week we have a nice selection from the garden. Herbs, beans, cucumbers, squash, tomatoes and more are all ready for you table.

I hope this finds you all doin well. I think the long lost heat has arrived. We may continue with the excess moisture but its defiantly warm.
With that come the close of the greens and starts to plethora of summer goodies. We hope to have one more picking of kale and Swiss chard but the rest is over.
The potatoes are here along with cucumbers, green tomatoes, basil, beans, squash, zucchini and lots of other stuff.

We will be getting milk this week from Milky Way Farm.

*I hope this finds you all doing well. It turned out to be a wonderful weekend. It was fantastic both Saturday and Sunday. The crop mob made it out today for a great work session. We were able to get 8 rows of tomatoes planted, rows weeded, limbs trimmed and a new rainwater catch on my workshop and shed.
The day needed with Mother Nature watering in the plants.

The week we will be harvesting potatoes. We look to see quite the harvest. We have listed a bag for every family size. We hope to have a few savoy and red cabbages. If we are lucky we should have some beans to go along with our bounty.

If you are able to venture out to the Brookhaven Farmers Market this week we will have some new vendors joining us.

Remember you have 21 meals this week and 28 if you include your snacks. I sure hope we ca. Help you fill some of the selection. We have several pork options and mushrooms to help you fill the menu.

We will on be offering our half heritage hogs for two more weeks. We have sold most of our current offerings. These hog shares will be ready for delivery in late July or early August. The prepayment program allows Double B Farm to raise your hog share with out borrowing money from the bank. It allows me to focus on raising the pigs instead of trying to make payments. I appreciate every order and work very hard to make sure you will be satisfied with your finished product.
