I hope this finds you all doing well. A nice little rain shower has settled upon the gardens and mushroom logs. All will benefit. There will be plenty of wonderful veggies this week. Order up as we will be closed next week for the Thanksgiving holiday. Don’t forget your extra sweet potatoes, winter squash, carrots and warm salad mix. The pork is plentiful and the garden is prolific. We should have a few dozen eggs available also.

I hope this finds you all doing well. The market is open. Your hog shares will available for delivery this week. Please plan to pick up on Friday or sooner if we made prior arrangements. We still have a few available if interested and we have added most of the cuts to the list. The bacon will be here in another week so.

I hope this finds you all doing well. Trick or treat time is here already. Wow, time flies when you are having fun. We have lots of mushrooms this week along with a few other garden goodies. Order up and enjoy the best fresh produce around. This is also our final week for the hog reservation. One we have them processed the price will be increased to cover the added cost. Early reservations help cover that expense so I can pass along the savings but when I foot the cost I have to include it. The pig will be delivered on Tuesday. You hog shares will be ready for pickup on November 7th.

I hope this finds you all doing well. The fall veggies are starting to fill the table. We still have a few wonderful summer crops to tempt taste buds. Beans, okra and peppers are all looking great while the kale, collards, turnips and mustard are looking even better.
You have two more weeks for hog reservations. We will be taking them to the processor on the 27. The share will be ready for pickup two weeks later. You can place a deposit of 50% down to reserve yours.

I hope this finds you all doing well. We are coming towards the end of our hog share reservations. We have a few more to sell to hit our goal. If your interested in a share now is the time to order up.

We also have some great looking fall produce to put on the table. The first lettuce of the season will be listed along with turnips, mustard, collards, mushrooms and more. I picked 3-1/2 lbs of shiitake today and look to have plenty more by weeks end. I also had fun picking 7 lbs of bush beans.

I hope this finds you all doing well. Wow, October 3. This year is just cruising by. Here we are entering October. I have to say I am very glad to be here every day. Farming is a pleasure. It is hard work but I am very glad to be able to do it. While I am nowhere near where I was before my accident I am slowly getting things done. The lettuce is going in, more beets, chards, carrots, cabbage, collards, kale, mustard and more are on the way. With broken equipment and soar backs we are making it happen. The pigs are also thriving. They fake a tremendous amour of effort each sag but the pay off is great. The best pork around. Take advantage of it while you can the shares are going quick.

Ordering is open till Wednesday at 8 pm. We will see you on Friday between 5-7 at copy central, 1264 Parker road.
