fall hog share reservation. This is your chance to enjoy 1/2 of a Heritage hog to be raised just for you. They are a Mulefood / Redwattle cross, very tasty, tender and darker pork. We use only 100% non GMO feed and give the pigs fresh ground to root and feed on. They are moved regularly to new ground and given all the garden goodies that can eat. Heritage pigs tend to grow slower. Since they get to run around and play they also develop less fat. We do not use any chemical dewormers, antibiotics or growth hormones. We will raise them to around 200lbs. You will get the entire side, dressed to include, bellies, chops, ribs, ham, shoulder roasts, tenderloin and ground pork. You will get around 75-80lbs of meat about 5.65 per lb. We will take to the processor, have cut and wrapped per your request. I will bring each half to market for pick up. I can fit two whole pigs in a 7 cubic foot freezer so you will not need a big one. The meat is vacuum packed and ready for storage. We are ably to get a tremendous amount of product back. The " other" pieces like the feet, head, ears, tails, livers, heart, tung and soup bones are all returned. While they may not make your mouth water they can be eaten or served to Fido as a great treat.

This is some of the tastiest meat on the hog. Make a better than bacon breakfast treat. This is whole cut. My sugestion would be to cook, cool then slice this tasty portion. If you are an avid smoker of meats you will truly enjoy slow smoking, then slicing and cooking like bacon. Wow. You will enjoy every last bite.

This sausage is great. It is made from the whole hog, every bit, top to bottom and all point in between. Has a little kick form the red pepper but that's it. No MSG, no Nitrate, no preservatives. Best of the best!
